Stefanie Ebben Kingsley

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Stefanie moved to Eastern Kentucky in 2005 to work for the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky (AppalReD Legal Aid). She represented low-income clients in a variety of matters, including divorce, domestic violence issues, custody issues, foreclosure, debt collection defense, and bankruptcy. In 2015, Stefanie also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Rate Intervention, representing consumers before the Public Service Commission. After a career in public service, Stefanie made the transition to private practice in 2016, and opened Stefanie Ebbens Kingsley Law in Corbin, Kentucky. Stefanie graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2005. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Kentucky Justice Association. She lives in Williamsburg with her husband Fred and their four dogs, two cats, and fifty-two chickens on their mini-farm. She is on the board for Baptist Health Corbin Foundation, Kentucky Mutts, Whitley County Farmers Market, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth Steering Committee, Emerge Kentucky, and is a Member of the Tri-County Leadership Class of 2020.
